
Billy Idol and his longtime guitarist Steve Stevens have shared their reaction to the news that they will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame this fall along with metal legends Iron Maiden, as well as Phil Collins, Oasis, Joy Division/New Order and more.
Idol had this to say, "Being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame alongside so many of my heroes and influences is a tremendous honor. And to be inducted alongside my longtime compatriot Steve Stevens makes this all even more special. (continue)
Saosin have returned with their first new music in a decade with their new single "Starting Over Again", along with an accompanying music video for the track. Here is the official announcement: The band has signed to Sumerian Records, joining the label's already illustrious roster including Bad Omens, Poppy, Hollywood Undead, and more.
They have also shared their first new music in over a decade, as well as their first since the band - guitarists Beau Burchell and Phil Sgrosso, bassist Chris Sorenson, and drummer Alex Rodriguez - reunited with vocalist Cove Reber. Killswitch Engage have just added more tour dates to their upcoming 2026 tour schedule. The band will first embark on a headline tour, which kicks off June 3 in Detroit and runs through June 27 in San Francisco, and includes appearances at Milwaukee Metal Fest and DC Warped Tour Weekend. Support will come from Machine Head, Iron Reagan, and Havok.
They will then head to Canada in August for a headline run, from August 5 through August 16. Machine Head and Malevolence will support. The Canadian trek includes appearances at the Rock La Cauze Festival and Burt Block Party. (continue)

PRO-PAIN have delivered a lyric video for their brand new single "Scorched Earth". The track is the third single from the band's forthcoming album, "Stone Cold Anger", which is set to be released by Napalm Records on May 15th.

Venom have unleashed a video for "Kicked Outta Hell", which is the second single from their forthcoming album "Into Oblivion", that is set to be released on May 1st. The veteran band has also announced global listening events that will take place on the eve of the album's release.

Coheed and Cambria announces two new special events -- the two day Neverender Festival at The Observatory Festival Grounds and the one day Neverender Rocks at the Red Rocks Amphitheater -- under the "Neverender" alias that the band has long used to designate special events, tours, and cruises.

Joe had this to say about the song, "I wrote Track and Field quickly. I see this song as an early '90s American montage that focuses on two college kids falling for each other on a college athletics track. The name 'Lamorna' I chose to honor my friend's dog, who ran off a cliff. (continue)
